This feature helps you focus on what is most important and manage your tasks in a structured way!

The prioritization feature in Mariko helps you choose what is most important to do first. This can be particularly useful for people with ADHD and autism, where decision-making and organizing tasks can be a challenge. With prioritization, you can ensure that important tasks are handled first and reduce stress around decision-making.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open the activity you want to prioritize

  • Go to your Daily Schedule

  • Select an activity that you want to prioritize.


2. Select the prioritization option

  1. Tap on the “Prioritize what to do first” section .

  1. Tap on “Priority”


3. Select a priority

  1. You will get the following options:

    • Not prioritized - If you do not want to give the activity a specific priority (default)

    • Priority 1 (purple heart symbol) - Most important, should be done first.

    • Priority 2 (pink flag) - High priority but not urgent.

    • Priority 3 (yellow flag) - Medium priority, can wait.

    • Priority 4 (gray flag) - Low priority, done if time available.

  1. Tap the priority that best suits your activity.


4. Save and close

  • Tap “Save & Close” to confirm your changes.

  • Colors and icons help to quickly identify priority levels.

  • Visual markers make it easy to see which activities are most important.

  • Possibility to change priority when needed, providing flexibility.

  • Go back to the activity and select a new priority in the same way.

  • Yes, you can! Use the search and filter function in the Master list to view activities based on priority.

❓ What should I do if I have too many high priority tasks?

  • Try to limit Priority 1 to only the most critical tasks. Move others to Priority 2 or lower.
