Adding an area to the daily schedule
With these simple steps, you can create a more structured and manageable daily life with Mariko!

An area in the Mariko app helps you organize your activities into categories that fit your life, such as Morning Routine, Work, or Exercise. Grouping activities makes it easier to keep track of what to do and when.


Why use areas?

  • Structure your day - See activities in clear categories.

  • Plan better - Get an overview of different parts of your day.

  • Reduce stress - Focus on one thing at a time.


Step-by-step guide

1. go to the daily schedule

  • Open the Mariko app.

  • Navigate to Daily Schedule.

2. Add a new area

  • Tap on “Add area”.

  • Type the name of your area, for example Morning Routine.

3. Customize the area

  • Description (optional): Add a short text describing the area.

  • Color: Tap Color to choose a color that will help you quickly identify the area.

4. Save the area

  • Tap on “Save”.

  • Your new area will now appear in the daily schedule.

5. Add activities to the area

  • Tap “Add activities” under the area.

  • Add activities that fit into the area, such as Eating breakfast, Exercising, or Reading.


Accessibility features

  • Color coding helps visual learners to quickly recognize areas.

  • Descriptions make it easier to understand the purpose of the area.

  • Reminders can be activated to keep you on track.


Common problems and solutions

Problem: I don’t see my area in the daily schedule.

Solution: Check if it’s saved by going back to the main menu and opening the daily schedule again.

Problem: I want to change the color of the area.

Solution: Tap on the area, select Color, and change the setting.

Problem: I accidentally added the wrong area.

Solution:Go into the area and select Edit or Delete.
